Update!

Hey guys! I know it's the holidays and all but I just thought to check up to see what you've been up to regarding Assignment 2. Just to refresh your memory, I'll post up the roles and plan of completion from week 9 to week 10 here just to make sure we all are in check. Ning Gu said that the server would be on 24/7 even during the holidays, so I hope you all (and myself) would be getting familliar with using the teamwork program. Also to start on constructing the model. It would be good to have another meeting when we are all back in week 10 to see where everyone is at with the model and to also discuss on further progress for the model in regards to the plan of completion. I'll probably be contacting you all sometime this week to confirm a meeting time and day for week 10.


ROLES
Rachel Lee
Leader (Management):
1. Blog overseer
-Keeping up to date with updates
-Compiling ideas, documentation
-Keeping blog neat

2. Communicating with group members
-For group meetings (SMS, calling, e-mail, blog)
-Communication in general (Updating group members with latest ideas and discussions)

3. Keeping track of Timeline
-Making sure they produce consistent work throughout assignment period
-Always referring back to Timeline to keep group members on track


Justin Lee
Leader (Creative)
1. Decision making in CAD Model and presentation
-Finalizing everyon'e ideas and works
-Soliving problems and overcoming discussion issues (technical, creative. Eg. Fixing any dispute regarding the CAD and creative aspects)

2. Overlooking works by Presentation Artist, Interior Design and Landscape Architect
-Making sure they produce works of high quality
-Producing astatically beautiful analogue and 3D presentations

3. Structural enhancements and additions
-Building up basic walls, slab and roof of extensions (just to show structure, not including material usage and openings - windows, doors.)


Tina Xiong
1. Interior Design (Leader)
-Internal and aesthetic issues.
-To work on the materials, furnishing, lighting, decoration etc...

-Placing openings
-Windows, doors

-Giving out instructions and having discussions with the Helper when needed
-Working together with Helper to solve possible problems and issues

-Co-operating with Presentation Artist
-Passing of information and details regarding material attributes and building information

2. Landscape Architect (Helper)
-Helping Interior Designer with various roles
-Following instructions and directions from Leader
-Working together with Leader to solve possible problems and issues


Citra Fila Telis
1. Landscape Architect (Leader)
-To work on greenery, landscaping, mesh, rocks and contours
-Trees, gardens, AHD
-Making complex and natural landscape forms (Blending grass, cliff, rocks, sand, ocean, horizon and sky naturally)

-Co-operating with Presentation Artist
-Passing of information and details regarding site (Photographs etc.)

-Giving out instructions and having discussions with the Helper when needed
-Working together with Helper to solve possible problems and issues

2. Presentation Artist (Helper)
-Helping Presentation Artist with various roles
-Following instructions and directions from Leader
-Working together with Leader to solve possible problems and issues


Chze Yoon
1. Presentation Artist (Leader)
-To work on 3D renderings and 3d editing.
-Photoshop editing 3D renderings for more realistic appearance
-3D rendering from ArchiCAD model (Choosing views to render)

-To work on 2D drawings from ArchiCAD
-Gathering 2D drawings from ArchiCAD
-Working on layout and design of Analogue Presentation

-Co-operating with Interior Designer and Landscape Architect
-In regards with lighting, material attributes, sun, landscape and site

-Transferring from ArchiCAD to Artlantis
-Camera angles, focus, camera settings
-Enhancing aestatics and materials with Artlantis

-Giving out instructions and having discussions with the Helper when needed
-Working together with Helper to solve possible problems and issues

2. Interior Design (Helper)
-Helping Interior Designer with various roles
-Following instructions and directions from Leader
-Working together with Leader to solve possible problems and issues


Timeline (Plan of Completion)
Week 9
-Leaders and helpers to discuss task at hand
-Initiation of basic model renovation (e.g. Wall extensions / modifications, slab alterations, etc.)
-Landscaping alterations
-Communicate throughout holidays (SMS, MSN, E-mail, phone)

Week 10
-Interior and exterior detailing (Materials)
-Gathering information to produce analogue presentation
-Designing layout sheet for analogue presentation
-Furnishing and decorations
