Landscaping

Ok Citra, you have heaps to do. Your job, landscaping would be the most complex and challenging. This is our ambitious attempt to realistically mimic a natural site as much as possible. They'll be many experiments, trial and errors to get this one right. There is a possibility that we may not be able to pull this one off, but I remain optimistic. Our success in building a realistic site would without a doubt dramatically increase the visual quality of our work. Rachel and I will constantly assist you in this job.

As we all know by this point, we are moving the house from Pokolbin to The terrace. Well, not precisely the terrace, but the aim is to construct a cliff by the ocean. Here are some aspects to consider for a more realistic site:

-Manually made Rocks
-No surrounding buildings, House stands alone in a natural landscape.
-Rocky cliff
-Artlantis Water shader.
-Artlantis Trees, plants and trees.
-Brick drive way to house.

As you can see, rocks can be made manually via Archicad.

Rocks and boulders can be made using the mesh tool. Making several rock types is sufficient for a realistic look. Then they need to be rotated and reposition. There is no need to manually make every single rock different.

However, it is not possible to perfectly re-model the natural landscape. At least, not until the my level of knowledge. With my method, there is a bound to have sharp-edges. Hence forth, the cliff would look something like this artificial climbing wall. The cliff and its irregularity can be constructed via a horizontal mesh, then it can be rotated upright via GDR script.

This is what we are aiming for. Not the semi urban terrace. This is an Isolated house in nature. Can Lis.
